HackBU is an organization at Binghamton University. We exist to foster a community of individuals who solve problems through the innovative use of technology.
Hackathons are events where a bunch of "hackers" come together in teams with the intention of creating the best type of program (i.e. web app, iPhone app, etc) or hardware within a certain period of time.
The event is open to all Binghamton University students 18 and older. You don't need to be a computer science major or engineer to participate!
Don't worry, beginners are welcome. Come to HackBU's weekly workshops to learn how to code.
Bring your laptop, cell phone, and chargers. We'll provide the rest.
No! We recommend registering with friends but there will be opportunities to brainstorm and meet other participants.
Yes. We'll be providing meals and snacks so don't worry!
